Insulation by Cohen’s is a family-owned company in its third generation. We offer a variety of insulation services, including spray foam, fiberglass, cellulose, sheep wool, blown-in, and more. Cohen’s also offers after paint services in all markets: custom mirrors, shower installations, closet systems, blinds, and bathroom fixtures.
Our company is always expanding. We currently have over twenty branches, with our service area stretching from central Pennsylvania to Florida. Whether you’re a homeowner or a builder, Insulation by Cohen’s can handle the scope of your project.

Our History
Insulation by Cohen’s is a family company which opened its doors in 1976. We were founded by Cohen Gaskins Jr. and Susie Wolford Gaskins. Cohen’s initially serviced South Carolina with both insulation and drywall. We were founded on the principle of reliable next-day service. In 2013, we separated from Cohen’s Drywall and focused exclusively on insulation. Cohen’s Drywall is our sister company and still operates under family ownership in coastal South Carolina.
In addition to opening new branches, Insulation by Cohen’s has expanded operations through strategic acquisitions of other insulation companies up and down the east coast. We find small businesses with great expertise and bring them into the Cohen’s family. Our combined experience with insulation helps us to offer both reliable next-day service and real results.

Is this the same company as Cohen’s Drywall?
No, Insulation by Cohen’s and Cohen’s Drywall split in 2013. Our offices do share a legacy phone number, and Cohen’s Drywall still operates under family ownership. However, the two companies are unaffiliated and do not share any owners.
Are you a private-owned company or corporation?
Insulation by Cohen’s is a private, family owned and operated company in its third generation.
Is your company insured?
Insulation by Cohen’s is fully insured and bonded. Your work with us is protected and insured.
Do you have a warranty on your insulation?
We offer a standard 2 year warranty on labor and install, as well as the manufacturer warranty on all insulation material.
Does your company cover any damages that they cause?
No one wants damage to happen on the job, but occasionally accidents occur. Insulation by Cohen’s does cover any damages that result from our work, such as sheetrock cracks or oil left behind in a driveway.
How many people does your company employ?
With over 20 branches across 6 states, Insulation by Cohen’s employs nearly 600 people. We have the resources to complete any job. Although we continue to grow, our family values are important to us. You’ll receive the same kind of care and expertise as you would at your local mom-and-pop shops.

Yes, Insulation by Cohen’s employees are subject to random drug testing.

We employ both English and Spanish speakers. When doing retrofit work in a home, we make sure to have an English speaker on the jobsite: a crew member, a salesman, or a manager.

Insulation by Cohen’s has decades of experience with insulation installation across many climate zones. The expertise of our branch managers alone combines to nearly 300 years of experience. We also employ crew members with varying levels of expertise. New installers benefit from the knowledge of those around them, making new insulation professionals.
Do you guarantee the insulation will save me money and make my home comfortable?
We don’t make promises we can’t keep. It is impossible to guarantee something when we can’t control other factors, like your HVAC system and the age of your home. Even so, we work with you to achieve the outcome you want. We are always upfront and honest, as if your home is our own. New insulation should make a difference in the average house, and we can talk more specifically with you during an on-site consultation.
